SYNOPSIS

A Greek man, past his fifties, is driving an old-fashioned car across the border to Bulgaria to buy a child. Yorgos has prepared a secret compartment in the boot of the car masked as a gas tank so that he could smuggle the child. The baby is not born yet and the Greek needs to wait in a secluded house in the mountains together with the mother, her deaf-mute brother and the midwife. The birth starts in a stormy night.
